- Assist cardiologists and radiologists in the Cardiac and Interventional Cath Lab with a variety of life-saving cardiovascular and endovascular procedures, including coronary angiography, heart catheterizations, and emergency interventions such as STEMI activations

Responsibilities - Registered Nurse Cath Lab
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac and Interventional Cath Lab plays a critical role in delivering patient-centered care throughout a wide range of cardiovascular and endovascular procedures. Working closely with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members, the RN assists with both diagnostic and interventional cases, such as heart catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and emergency interventions. Responsibilities include performing baseline patient assessments, monitoring patient response during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and providing clear communication and education to patients and families. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, supporting optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, technologically advanced setting.
Qualifications - Registered Nurse Cath Lab
- Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing program, or higher
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing
- BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire)
- ACLS (within 1 year of hire)
- Previous acute care (ICU, ED, etc) or cath lab experience
- Experience circulating and monitoring invasive cardiac procedures, endovascular procedures, and interventional radiology procedures (preferred)

The Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist acts as a first assistant in both diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization, ensuring maximum patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
Qualifications - Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist
A graduate of a diploma, associates, or bachelor's health sciences program (includes, but is not limited to cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing) or a licensed/certified EMT or paramedic
BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire)
ACLS (within 1 year of hire)
