Position Status: Full Time - Day Shift
Position Location: Hybrid - Sentara PACE Norfolk and Portsmouth
Overview
The Manager, Quality Improvement will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care through the integration of evidence-based practices, virtual care technologies, and quality improvement. The manager will perform regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with operational teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Analyze data to identify trends and root causes of quality defects; propose and implement plans of correction. Provide training and guidance on quality assurance practices and tools. Drive the development and execution of strategies to mitigate potential quality-related issues.
Managers with Virtual Care (telehealth) scope will also be responsible for leading and advancing quality initiatives, virtual care and telehealth services. The manager will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of telehealth programs, ensuring staff are trained and equipped to deliver remote care effectively.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field. (Required)
- An active RN license in the state of practice is required for all Registered Nurses.
- BLS (Required within 90 days)
- 3 years of quality improvement experience (Required)
- 1 year of leadership experience (Required)
