Sentar is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer
Role Description
The AFSO reports directly to the FSO and assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), and Electronic Application (eAPP)
- Provides and tracks security briefings, debriefings, and training for employees
- Is an active member of the onboarding team to present initial security briefing and obtain required security documentation
- Maintains company personnel security clearance records
- Processes and tracks employee security clearances, investigations, form completion, visit requests
- Submits CAC requests, and other contract-specific requirements
- Assists in preparation for facility reviews and inspections, including FCL Self-Inspections
- Assists with the administration of company CUI processes and compliance
- Supports other company security disciplines as needed in connection with specific projects
- Other duties as assigned by the FSO
Qualifications
Clearance Level: Secret Clearance and US citizen
Education: N/A
Experience
- Must have at least 3 years of industrial security experience
- Must complete, or have completed the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum, within six months of employment
- Familiarity with the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule
- Strong computer skills
- Must be able to interpret and implement security policy, and provide guidance, oversight, and assistance to company personnel
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
