What are the responsibilities and job description for the Triage Medical Assistant position at SENTA Partners?
We are a large ENT & allergy practice that is ever growing! We are currently looking for an experienced medical assistant to join our team at our Canton location as a triage MA doing admin work!
We are looking for a positive, detail oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, independent, reliable person with great people skills to work admin in our triage department processing orders, Rxs, results, and medication prior authorizations, and other admin tasks to alleviate the MAs on the clinical floor. A seasoned MA wanting a break on the floor with great work ethic, detail oriented and self motivated would be best! Looking for long term and full time. This job comes with full benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Rx queue
- Orders queue - faxing out/receiving back results
- Assigning providers/monitoring ordering
- Medication Prior Authorizations
- Other admin tasks/calling patients for clinical floor medical assistants.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
