Sensually Yours, Inc. is a locally owned specialty retail store in Honolulu, HI, seeking a Keyholder / Manager on Duty (MOD) to support daily store operations during assigned shifts. This role is a shift-lead position and is ideal for experienced retail associates looking to take the next step.
Position Overview
The MOD acts as the on-site point of contact during their shift, ensuring smooth store operations, excellent customer service, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do
- Open and/or close the store as scheduled
- Serve as the on-duty keyholder during assigned shifts
- Support and guide sales associates during peak hours
- Maintain store standards (cleanliness, organization, merchandising)
- Handle basic customer issues and escalations when appropriate
- Complete routine operational tasks and shift checklists
- Motivate and rally sales staff to meet daily sales goals during your shift
- Back-up sales team for on-floor sales and assisting customers on Lightspeed POS, with the ability to accurately handle cash/credit payments
- Communicate notes or incidents to store leadership
- Balance cash drawers at the end of your shift and prepare bank deposits
Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience, preferably in a lead or keyholder role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a retail environment
- Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold good inventory practices, such as FIFO
- Must be 18 and able to verify customer ID per store policy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Schedule & Status
- Hourly, non-exempt position
- Part-time or full-time availability, depending on store needs
