Role Description The Materials Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in St. Petersburg, FL. This role oversees all aspects of materials planning, inventory control, and production support to ensure components and finished goods are available in the right quantities and at the right time. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing inventory levels, coordinating material requirements with production schedules, monitoring supplier deliveries, and optimizing material flow throughout the facility. The Materials Manager collaborates with purchasing, production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve shortages, improve lead times, and reduce material-related costs. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in the ERP system, analyzing data to improve processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete materials.
- Strong Materials Management skills, including material planning, requisitioning, and coordination across purchasing and production functions.
- Experience in Production Planning to align material availability with manufacturing schedules and customer demand.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret inventory, demand, and supplier performance data and recommend process improvements.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and standard MS Office tools to manage materials and reporting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial environments; background in sensors, electronics, or mechanical components is a plus.
