Role Description
Are you a detail-oriented lab professional passionate about toxicology and clinical diagnostics? Sensiva Health is growing our in-house laboratory capabilities. We're seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist (LCMS Toxicology) to perform high-quality testing in our state-of-the-art facility, supporting toxicology panels, drug screening, and related assays that drive patient care.
This full-time role is based in Saint Rose, Louisiana (near New Orleans Airport), offering relocation support for the right candidate to join our collaborative team.
- Perform moderate and high-complexity testing in compliance with CLIA and LSBME standards.
- Conduct specimen processing, analysis, and accurate result reporting for toxicology and related assays.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all quality control, proficiency testing, and maintenance activities with precision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet turnaround times and accuracy standards.
- Support new assay validation and laboratory development projects.
- Louisiana CLS Generalist license (Required), with certification from ASCP or AAB that qualifies through LSBME.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field.
- Clinical laboratory experience in at least one specialty area (molecular, NGS, chemistry, hematology, toxicology).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in laboratory informatics and data analysis preferred.
- Full-time position based in Saint Rose, Louisiana (conveniently near New Orleans Airport).
