Responsibilities:
- Performs assembly operations in the manufacturing process of electronic components using a variety of hand tools and equipment.
- Perform various cleanroom operations, hand or furnace soldering, and mechanical assembly operations.
- Perform assembly operations using written instructions and associated drawings.
- Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
- Set up work as required, as well as movement of material.
- Follow work instructions for specific operations.
- Perform required work steps within specific cycle time.
- May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- Adhere to all quality and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- One to two years’ of electronic assembly, familiarity with electronics manufacturing and construction. Microelectronic assembly experience is preferred.
- One to two years’ experience and comfortability using a microscope.
- Focus and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with attention to quality and protocols.
- HSD/GED.
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with using a computer
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Good eye to hand coordination
- Steady hands
- Ability to work overtime.
