Position: Lead Integration Support Engineer (DataStage & Control-M)
Work Location: Culver City, CA (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
NOTE: Only local candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities:
DataStage:
- Analyze job failures on datastage Application & on Unix server.
- Code migrations.
- User creation & assignment of roles.
- Work with IBM Support for tool related issues.
- Unlock jobs/sessions.
- Good understanding of Shell scripts & Python code.
Control-M:
- Take action for failures as needed(kill, force-complete, hold etc..)
- Configure SAP & Unix jobs.
- Calendar updates, Workload policy creations, getting new agents installed & upgrading Control-M agents.
- Work on PagerDuty Configurations.
Gentran:
- Understanding of Maps, mailboxes, FTP scripts.
- Analyze custom Java programs.
- 3. Configure/debug Stored procedures on MS SQL.
Must have skills:
- 8 years experience with IBM DataStage.
- Good understanding of Unix servers, shell scripts, Cron jobs & Relational databases.
- Working experience in Python Programming.
- Creating and debugging shell scripts.
- Good understanding of snowflake platform.
