Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical, data-driven Inventory Analyst to optimize inventory levels, help improve forecast accuracy, and drive measurable improvements in working capital and service levels. This role will leverage statistical analysis and data modeling to identify inefficiencies, recommend actions, and partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to execute improvements.

This role will leverage statistical analysis and data modeling to identify inefficiencies, recommend actions, and partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to execute improvements.
Position Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory levels, turns, aging, excess & obsolete inventory, and service levels.
- Develop models for safety stock, reorder points, and EOQ. Identify root cause of inventory imbalances and build reporting dashboards.
- Partner with Sales and Operations to promote forecasting accuracy. Apply statistical techniques such as regression modelling and time series analysis. Monitor forecast accuracy and drive improvements.
- Recommend and implement inventory strategies to reduce working capital. Drive reduction of excess and obsolete inventory. Improve ERP/MRP planning parameters and processes.
- Work with Operations, Procurement, and Finance to optimize inventory levels and communicate findings clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in inventory or supply chain analytics
- Experience working in a manufacturing field preferred
- Strong Excel and data visualization skills
- Knowledge of statistical modeling and forecasting
- APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) preferred
- Experience with ERP and Planning systems
- Knowledge of the S&OP process
