Shift/Server Leader

Overview

At El Señor Taco Mexican Grill, we are looking for a Shift Leader who is ready to take full ownership of the floor, lead a team with confidence, and deliver results every single shift. This is not a passive role—you are expected to be in control, make decisions, and ensure that everything runs at a high standard from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• As a Shift Leader, you are responsible for setting the tone of the shift. You will train and guide the front-of-house team, making sure every team member understands expectations, follows procedures, and delivers strong customer service. Your presence should create structure, urgency, and accountability across the entire operation.
• You will be in charge of executing opening and closing procedures with precision, ensuring the restaurant is fully prepared for service and properly organized at the end of the shift. Throughout the day, you are expected to identify issues immediately, take action, and communicate clearly with management when needed. Everything that happens during your shift—good or bad—falls under your responsibility.
• This role requires someone who can lead by example. Cleanliness, organization, and time management are not optional—they are part of your daily standard. You should be the person your team looks at to understand how things should be done, especially in moments of pressure.
• You will also play a key role in the guest experience. Handling customer situations with confidence, maintaining a smooth flow of service, and pushing sales through upselling and promotions are all part of your impact. A strong Shift Leader doesn’t just manage operations—they actively drive results and improve performance during every shift.
• We are looking for someone with a strong leadership presence, clear communication skills, and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to make decisions, solve problems quickly, and maintain professionalism at all times.
