What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at senneca?
We seek Warehouse Team Members for our 1st Shift! Regular, daytime hours! Be part of our core team by working a schedule of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
We are looking for fantastic candidates with proven Forklift Experience for the positions we have available!
- Develop intimate knowledge of the processes supported
- Pick-up and drop-off materials at pre-designated areas at scheduled intervals
- Keep the workplace clean and organized to facilitate the efficient flow of materials
- Movement of materials to their intended locations
- 5S activities for all responsible areas (sorting, organizing, cleaning, sweeping)
- Facilitate the flow of materials by participating in the production process including assembly, building of components, shipping, and receiving as needed
- Transacting material to jobs and non-conformances
- Work with purchasing and supply chain in the inventory management process including cycle counting, physical inventory, notification of stock outs
- Flexibility to cross-train as necessary
