Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and
develop our maintenance team in supporting a high-volume manufacturing
facility. This role is critical to ensuring the uptime and reliability of all
production equipment within our 80,000 sq. ft. facility, including an extruder,
RF welders, rotational molding ovens, foam presses, CNCs, and other essential
assets. The ideal candidate is a journeyman electrician or seasoned
millwright who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety,
continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise
and mentor a team of 5 maintenance technicians.
Foster
a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
Provide
technical guidance and training to enhance team capabilities.
Equipment Reliability & Uptime
Oversee
all critical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Lead
troubleshooting and emergency repairs, including off-hours response as
needed.
Maintain
accurate records of equipment history and performance metrics.
Preventative Maintenance Program
Plan,
schedule, and execute a comprehensive preventative maintenance strategy.
Ensure
compliance with OEM recommendations and internal standards.
Continuously
improve PM procedures to reduce reactive maintenance.
Operational Support
Partner
with production teams to ensure seamless manufacturing continuity.
Collaborate
on root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues.
Support
new equipment installations and commissioning.
Safety & Continuous Improvement
Identify
and resolve safety hazards related to equipment and infrastructure.
Participate
in CI initiatives to improve equipment performance and operational
efficiency.
Promote
a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and company
standards.
