At Door Engineering, a Senneca Brand, we manufacture custom industrial and commercial doors. We are currently seeking welders to join our team at our Mankato facility. This role is responsible for welding while ensuring quality and production standards are met.
Available Shifts
2nd Shift: 4:30 p.m. - 3:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday. Differential $1.50
Weekend Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Paid Meal Breaks & Differential 20%

Responsibilities
- Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications prior to production.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the welding process.
- Maintain proper documentation related to welding operations and production output.
- Work closely with production teams and leadership to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in improving robotic welding processes and efficiencies when possible.
- Experience operating or programming robotic welding equipment preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding or fabrication environments preferred.
- D1 certification - or ability to pass test - preferred (advanced welding experience is a plus).
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and gauges.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic robotic welding or fabrication issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
