Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a little assistance, support, and a friendly smile. Our caregivers make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver’s home. We empower our care receivers to continue to live independent lives by providing companionship and taking care of day-to-day, non-medical tasks and activities of daily living.
We are looking to add to our team of caregivers and are searching for mature and compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the community. One important aspect of our services is providing companionship to those we serve. To do so, we commit to pairing caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds. This ensures a mutually beneficial relationship that helps to encourage a deep and meaningful connection.
Seniors Helping Seniors® caregivers also help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, meals, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. We also offer support and assistance with activities of daily living and offer specialized care, respite care, and assistance for individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Companionship and homemaker responsibilities may include:
- Provide Companionship
- Assist with Light Housekeeping (e.g., laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc.)
- Shopping and Errands
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Reminders
- Pet Care
- Incidental Transportation (e.g., doctor’s appointments, family, restaurant, etc.)
Personal care responsibilities may include:
- Assist with Dressing
- Assist with Feeding
- Assist with Showering / Bathing
- Mobility Assistance
- Assist with Toileting / Incontinence
- Memory Care
Other Responsibilities
- Arrive on-time for all services
- Maintain documentation of all services provided
- Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior or appearance
- Communicate regularly and proactively with our office team, including adequate notice if you need a schedule change or cannot make a scheduled appointment
- Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meetings
Required Qualifications
- Valid Utah driver’s license, reliable and insured transportation
- Ability to perform light physical activity including frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- By law, background check, fingerprinting, and tuberculosis (TB) screen are required

- Experience in caregiving (professional or for family/friends)
- Compassionate, upbeat, and intuitive with an empathetic and patient-centered approach
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and dedication to our mission
- Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan
- Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
- Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed
- Proficient with smartphone
