Personal Care Caregiver for Seniors

Compensation: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience and level of care provided)

Job Type: Part-Time
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Shifts: Primarily Monday–Friday, daytime hours (mornings & afternoons)

At Seniors Helping Seniors – Pittsburgh NE, we are seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers with the skills and willingness to provide hands-on personal care for our clients. Our greatest need right now is for caregivers who are confident and experienced in assisting with daily living activities that support safety, dignity, and independence.

What You’ll Do:

As a caregiver, your role will center on direct personal care, including but not limited to:

• Bathing and grooming assistance (showering, dressing, shaving, oral hygiene, hair care).

• Toileting support (assistance to/from bathroom, incontinence care, proper hygiene).

• Mobility assistance (helping clients safely transfer from bed to chair, using mobility aids, fall prevention).

• Meal preparation and feeding assistance, when needed.

• Medication reminders to help clients stay on track with daily routines.

• Light housekeeping directly related to personal care (changing linens, laundry for hygiene needs, cleaning personal spaces).

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1–2 years of caregiving experience, preferably with personal care support.

• Availability Monday through Friday during daylight hours.

• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.

• Must pass a background check and provide a current two step TB test (within the past 12 months).
