Experienced In-Home Caregiver - Overnight

Seniors Helping Seniors® North Valley helps older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We thoughtfully pair caregivers with clients who share common ground, such as former professions, interests, or life experiences, so the relationship is meaningful for everyone. Many of our caregivers are retirees and semi-retired professionals who want work that truly matters.

We’re looking for an experienced caregiver with a proven track record of reliability. The right person shows up on time, every time, keeps long-term commitments, and has a steady work history to show for it. Above all, you’ve earned the trust and appreciation of the clients and families you’ve cared for, and they would gladly tell us so. If families have called you a blessing and asked for you by name, we want to meet you.

About the Role

This position involves 3 to 12-hour shifts, including overnights, providing non-medical support in the client’s home. Responsibilities include:

• Companionship and meaningful conversation

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Errands, shopping, and transportation

• Overnight presence and support for safety and peace of mind

• Pet care and other household tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience, either professional or caring for a family member

• At least two professional references

• References from past clients or their families strongly preferred

• A consistent work history and a track record of long-term commitments

• Availability for 12-hour day and overnight shifts, including weekends

• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor

• College education or a professional career background preferred

• Discretion and respect for client confidentiality

• Patience, sound judgment, and a calm presence

• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle

• Cell phone and personal email account

• Conversational English fluency

• Ability to pass a background check

• Living in or near North Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Carefree, or Anthem preferred
