Overview
Seniors Helping Seniors® is seeking senior aged 50 or young adults 25 in the Knoxville and surrounding areas. Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Knoxville, TN (“SHS”) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort our client's home. We have an immediate need for overnight in West Knoxville and varied shifts throughout Knoxville
SHS empowers seniors to continue to live independent lives by taking care of day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.
Qualifications:
· Enjoy working with our senior population
· Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual
· Understand the importance of our services to our seniors
· Have positive attitude and be dedicated to the Seniors Helping Seniors mission
· High level of emotional intelligence
· Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan
· Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
· Maintain the highest standards of client service and professionalism set by SHS
· Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed
Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:
· Provide Companionship
· Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…
· Shopping and Errands
· Meal Preparation
· Medication Reminders
· Pet Care
· Light Yard Work
· Light Handyman Services
· Overnight Supervision
· Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family or their favorite restaurant
Personal Care Duties may include:
· Assist with Dressing, feeding, showring / bathing, mobility, toileting / Incontinence, and memory care.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
Work Location: In person
Salary : $16
