Job Responsibilities

• Companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation

• Medication reminders, running errands, transportation to appointments

• Assisting with activities of daily living and specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia care

• Personal Care services may include

  • Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Help with mobility assistance (walking, transferring, positioning).
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals based on dietary needs.
  • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing).
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands.
  • Monitor and report changes in health or behavior to family or medical professionals.
  • Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.

Requirements

• Treat clients with dignity and respect

• Weekend availability (If applicable)

• Effective communication skills

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance

• Compliance with State of NJ regulations, DMV check, and drug screening.

• Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in New Jersey.

• Previous experience in caregiving or senior care preferred.

• Ability to lift and assist clients safely.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
