Community Liaison / Business Development Coordinator
Position Summary - The Face of Our Agency! The Community Liaison is responsible for driving our agency's growth by building a robust referral network among other Senior Services Companies across Stark and Summit counties. This role seamlessly transitions digital and phone leads into scheduled home assessments while actively building our brand and reputation in the Senior Services market.
At Seniors Helping Seniors, our Community Liaison is the vital link between our agency and the broader healthcare community. When a hospital social worker needs a reliable partner for a safe discharge, or a family calls our line seeking guidance, you are the trusted expert who makes the connection. We aren't just filling shifts; we are ensuring that the seniors we serve can age with dignity in their own homes.
- Pay: Base Salary $40,000 - $45,000 Uncapped Commission. Earn aggressive flat-fee bonuses for every new client Start of Care, tiered by the size of the case and lead source. On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $60,000 - $70,000
- Mileage reimbursement or Company Car for business related driving.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday occasional evenings/weekends for community events or shared On-Call rotation for new leads.
- Location: (Hybrid/Office Mix) Field-based across Stark and Summit Counties.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- The Networker: Develop and nurture relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, and other local senior services companies.
- The Converter: Act as the primary contact for prospective clients. You will work leads that come in digitally and via our phone line, successfully transitioning them into scheduled home assessments and manage our CRM system called WelcomeHome.
- The Brand Ambassador: Build our reputation in the market by attending local networking events, senior fairs, and community board meetings. You'll build and strengthen relationships with physicians, hospitals, and other referral sources to increase awareness, trust, and utilization of our services. You will be able to authentically tell our Differentiation story and our Why.
- The Pipeline Manager: Manage your daily outreach using CRM software, tracking leads, referral source visits, and conversion rates to meet or exceed monthly growth targets.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: At least 2-3 years in a Home Care, Hospice, or Skilled Nursing setting, specifically in a Sales capacity. Familiarity with the Stark, Summit, and Portage County senior care network is highly desired.
- Sales & Conversion Skills: Proven ability to take a digital or phone inquiry, uncover the family's true needs, and confidently guide them through the intake process to a booked assessment. Ability to build relationships and referral partners in a competitive environment. Able to communicate our differentiation and origin story and why.
- Emotional Intelligence: You must be able to de-escalate a stressful situation with empathy. You're talking to families in crisis; your voice should be their "peace of mind."
- Tech Savvy: Ability to learn CRM software quickly, leverage it to enable our growth and manage a high volume of calls and emails with accuracy.
- Detail-Oriented: In home care, the "little things" are the "big things." You notice when a referral partner prefers a specific communication style or when a digital lead requires immediate follow-up.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
