Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to an individual in need of assistance with daily living activities. Patient is in his 80s.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being.
- medication reminders as prescribed and monitor vital signs when necessary.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, including the use of Hoyer lifts if required.
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring nutritional guidelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Need someone to help with Paperwork, Monthly expense, Medical appointments, and Procedures, Insurance paperwork.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in home care for seniors and disabled adults.
- Knowledge of first aid practices and vital sign monitoring is beneficial.
- Experience in home & community care or personal care homes is a plus.
- Ability to drive residents to appointments or activities as needed.
