Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented Metallurgical Laboratory Technician who takes pride in doing things the right way. In this role, you'll prepare and perform metallurgical testing on production samples — acting as an essential checkpoint to verify that all parts meet the highest quality and compliance standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform standard metallurgical procedures on production and test samples
- Prepare samples and perform metallographic evaluation using metallurgy equipment and tools
- Evaluate welded and formed samples for compliance with engineering and quality specifications
- Record and report test results, including processing any non-conforming findings
- Perform welder certification analysis and maintain required documentation
- Follow established work instructions, drawings, and procedures
- Achieve and maintain required Operator Authorizations
- Use basic computer systems to complete transactions and documentation
Qualifications
WHAT YOU HAVE
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in manufacturing or quality preferred, but not necessary - we'll train you
- Quality-focused mindset with a sharp eye for detail

Hourly Rate Range: $ $27.00 per hour. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
