Schedule: Full-Time
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience)
Senior Suites at St. Clair Commons is seeking a strong, proactive Health & Wellness Director to lead our clinical and wellness operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, coordinating and supervising clinical staff, and maintaining full compliance with Ohio Department of Health regulations. The ideal candidate is confident in managing a team, creating efficient schedules, coordinating care plans, and successfully preparing for and navigating state surveys.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Program Management: Oversee all resident health and wellness programs to ensure they meet facility standards, regulatory requirements, and person-centered care expectations.
Staff Supervision & Scheduling: Manage nursing and caregiving staff, including scheduling, coaching, evaluations, accountability, and promoting a positive team culture.
Regulatory Compliance & Survey Preparedness: Ensure ongoing compliance with Ohio Department of Health and federal regulatory standards; lead and support the facility through annual surveys, inspections, and follow-up plans of correction.
Assessment & Care Planning: Coordinate assessments, documentation, care plans, and clinical communication across departments.
Budget & Resource Oversight: Plan and manage staffing levels, clinical supplies, and departmental budget to promote both quality care and cost effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Licensure: Active LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio (required).
Experience: Previous management or supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or related healthcare setting required.
Scheduling background and experience leading a nursing team is strongly preferred.
Hands-on knowledge of Department of Health survey processes, documentation requirements, and quality assurance procedures is required.
Strong assessment, clinical documentation, and care coordination skills.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building ability.
