About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and clinically strong Quality Assurance / Wound Care Nurse to support resident care, wound monitoring, documentation, audits, and follow-through. As a QA/Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in monitoring wounds, skin concerns, treatments, and follow-up needs, as well as completing wound assessments, documentation, and provider/family updates.
Responsibilities:
Monitor wounds, skin concerns, treatments, and follow-up needs
Complete wound assessments, measurements, documentation, and provider/family updates
Review documentation, incident reports, treatment records, and clinical follow-up items
Assist with audits, quality assurance, infection control tracking, and survey readiness
Help coach staff on documentation, treatments, wound care, and resident safety
Work closely with nursing leadership, providers, residents, families, and the care team
Requirements:
Current Ohio LPN or RN license
Wound care experience preferred
Assisted living, skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
Someone who takes pride in doing things right and helping residents receive great care
