We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home support to patients throughout our service area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain their independence and quality of life while working one-on-one with patients in their homes.
Schedule
- Part-Time position
- Scheduled for weekends, Saturday and Sunday
- 16-20 hours per week
- Variable daytime schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with personal care, including bathing and grooming
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Assist with meal preparation and other activities of daily living
- Maintain a safe and clean home environment
- Document services provided and communicate patient concerns to the clinical team
- Travel between patient homes throughout the workday
Qualifications
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused
- Ability to work independently in patients' homes
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required
