Shifts Available: Day Shift - 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.
- Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, with a special focus on dementia care needs.
- Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior caregiving experience with dementia patients strongly preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
- Must be fluent in Vietnamese to effectively communicate with the client.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients.
- Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home).
- Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
