Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor clients' overall health
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients, following any specific dietary guidelines
- Help with light housekeeping tasks and laundry as needed
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being
- Report any changes in clients' condition to the appropriate supervisor or family member
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver, preferably with seniors
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- Compensation at $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, paid weekly
