Caregiver

Our Caregivers handle all aspects of daily life for our residents, including dispensing medication and incontinence care. You must be comfortable caring for people with different abilities.

You must also be dependable, as we are a smaller facility and require our caregivers to work all their scheduled shifts. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to a work schedule.

Precondition of all employment: Must pass state and Federal background check per state law prior to hire; must be CPR certified now or within 14 days of hire, but online certification is OK. Full training provided.

Must be:

At least 18 years old (21 for NOC shift)
Pass a full criminal background check prior to hire
Dependable, with a strong work ethic
Caring, with a genuine interest in elder care
Able to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform assistance with activities of daily living.
CPR certified (now or within 14 days of employment)

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, helping them with daily activities and providing emotional support.

Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in their daily routines
- Offer childcare services when needed
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their goals
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals like nurses to ensure the well-being of clients
- Engage in direct support activities tailored to each individual's needs

Qualifications:
- Experience in caregiving, social work, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid techniques is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
