We are seeking a highly organized and decisive Transportation Manager to lead daily operations of a dynamic transportation program serving seniors in Midland County. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily transportation operations and scheduling
- Lead, motivate, and support drivers and volunteer staff
- Coordinate high-volume ride requests across multiple destinations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and performance standards
- Manage vehicle maintenance, inspections, and fleet readiness
- Train new volunteer drivers and conduct annual meetings
- Monitor program efficiency and implement improvements
- Handle budgeting, reporting, and billing processes
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field (preferred)
- High school diploma required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Experience working with seniors, families, or volunteers preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues quickly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record required
