Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Registered Dietitian to complete monthly nutrition visits at assisted and independent living communities. This is an independent contractor role and ideal for an RD who thrives on flexibility, autonomy, and working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Compensation & Structure:
- $300 per building per month (flat rate)
- Each building typically requires ~2-3 hours total (visit, charting, audit)
- You choose your availability and schedule visits accordingly
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly on-site visits to assigned communities
- Complete nutrition assessments, weight loss/gain chart reviews, and follow-ups
- Perform kitchen audits and sanitation checklists
- Provide menu input and seasonal feedback (as needed)
- Collaborate with foodservice directors and care team members
- Document clearly in accordance with community/state standards
- Offer staff education and resident wellness presentations ( as needed)

What You Bring:
- RD credential (required)
- Licensure CT (required)
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management
