Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Home Care Specialist located in Morgantown, WV. Responsibilities include providing compassionate in-home care and personal assistance to senior residents while ensuring their safety and comfort. Duties may include assisting with daily activities, delivering personal care services, supporting emotional well-being, and fostering positive relationships with clients. Additionally, the Home Care Specialist will collaborate with the organization's staff to tailor services to clients' individual needs and uphold the highest standards of care.
Qualifications
- Experience in Home Care and Personal Care, including assisting clients with their daily activities and maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Strong skills in Caregiving and Elder Care with a compassionate and empathetic approach to clients’ needs
- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to follow care plans and maintain detailed documentation of services provided
- Physical capability to assist with mobility support and other hands-on caregiving tasks
- Previous experience in home healthcare or elderly care services preferred but not mandatory
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Relevant certifications in caregiving or elder care services are a plus

- Reports to Community Care Coordinator and Registered nurse
