Role Overview:

The Fire Sprinkler Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with NFPA standards and local regulations. This role helps safeguard residents, staff, and property by ensuring all fire suppression systems remain reliable and effective.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Install, inspect, test, and repair fire sprinkler systems and components.

·         Conduct routine preventive maintenance and ensure systems are code-compliant.

·         Troubleshoot deficiencies and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.

·         Document all inspections, tests, and maintenance in compliance with regulatory requirements.

·         Coordinate with community staff and outside contractors on projects and repairs.

·         Maintain tools, parts, and equipment inventory.

·         Adhere to OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards at all times.

·       Provide emergency response support when system issues occur.

Qualifications

·         High school diploma or equivalent required.

·         Previous experience in fire sprinkler installation, maintenance, or inspection preferred.

·         Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standards.

·         Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

·         Physical stamina to work in varied environments, including heights and confined spaces.

·         Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

·         Valid driver’s license preferred.
