- Form meaningful relationships with residents and families;
- Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily therapeutic programming schedule for 7 days per week;
- Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors;
- Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site
- Assist with support group and educational sessions for families and staff
- Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media
- Experience: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Education, Social Work, or related field, preferred. One years experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations, preferred.
- Physical requirements : Standing, sitting, bending
- Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
- Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
