Position: Security Officer

Shift: 2nd and 3rd shifts: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Pay: $17 per hour plus shift differential

Job Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, and staff, and protecting Community property. The Security Officer is responsible for verifying the scheduled presence of employees and third-party contractors on the grounds.

Essential Job Duties

• Make scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents, their property, and company property.
• Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
• Shovels and keeps clear exit door walkways during and after snowstorms.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Valid Driver License with ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report is required.
• One year's experience in security preferred.
