As part of this exciting expansion, Senior LIFE seeks a hardworking, dedicated and compassionate Member Assistant who, in conjunction with the Kitchen Manager, will prepare meals and assist members with eating and cleanup. As a core member of the kitchen staff, the Member Assistant will have many important responsibilities including
- Assisting in meal preparation and service
- Setting tables, setting up and serving trays, and pouring beverages
- Assisting during meal times, as needed, and visiting members in dining areas
- Cleaning up dining, dietary and day rooms before and after meal services
- Ensuring safe, responsible use of food preparation and service equipment, plus storage after use
- Sanitizing work spaces following meal preparation
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have one year's experience working specifically in a healthcare facility
