Role Description The Senior Life Care Advisor is a full-time hybrid role based in Green Bay and Appleton, WI. In this position, the advisor provides one-on-one guidance to seniors and their families, assessing care needs, discussing living options, and recommending appropriate communities and services. Daily responsibilities include conducting phone and in-person consultations, coordinating facility visits, maintaining detailed case notes, and following up to support clients through each stage of decision-making. The advisor collaborates with local senior living providers, builds strong community relationships, and stays informed about available services, costs, and eligibility requirements. The role also involves educating clients about resources, advocating for their best interests, and ensuring a professional, empathetic, and ethical experience at every interaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in senior care, social services, case management, or related fields, with a strong understanding of senior living options and support resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, clear explanation of complex information, and the ability to build trust with diverse clients and families.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, including accurate documentation, follow-up, and management of multiple client cases simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to meet clients in person in the Green Bay, WI area and perform administrative tasks remotely.
- Ability to use standard office and CRM tools, conduct online research on care options, and maintain confidential records in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and ethical judgment when supporting individuals and families during emotionally sensitive decisions.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in social work, healthcare, gerontology, counseling, or a related field is preferred.
