BASIC FUNCTION:
To oversee the operation of the Cedar Falls CSD concession stands and work collaboratively with the Concession Stand Manager to ensure efficient and safe event operations at athletic events and activities at the High School..
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervision
- Review event schedules with the Activities Director.
- Train and support Lead Concession Attendants and volunteers.
- Work collaboratively with the Concession Stand Manager to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep unauthorized persons out of concession areas.
- Report operational issues to the Athletic Director.
- Purchasing & Accounting
- Coordinate food and supply orders; submit receipts to the Secondary Bookkeeper.
- Maintain accurate inventory.
- Assist with stocking before events and restocking as needed.
- Follow district cash-handling procedures.
- Maintenance
- Prepare food according to the food safety plan.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the stand and equipment.
- Support equipment upkeep as directed by the Food & Nutrition Director.
- Obtain ServSafe certification.
- Operations
- Open and close concession stands when Lead Concession Attendants are unavailable.
- Be available during events to assist staff, volunteers, and customers.
- Communicate effectively with volunteers and management.
- Other duties as assigned
