Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational goals and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and overseeing onboarding processes to attract top talent.
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns promptly, mediating conflicts effectively, and fostering open communication channels across all levels of the organization.
- Oversee performance management programs, including employee evaluations, goal setting, and development plans to maximize workforce productivity.
- Administer benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation, and leave policies in compliance with applicable laws like FMLA and OSHA standards.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations such as OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and other relevant statutes.
- Supervise HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or ADP to streamline data collection, payroll processing, and reporting.
- Conduct training sessions on topics such as conflict management, change management, safety protocols (OSHA), and employee development initiatives.
- Lead organizational design efforts including process improvement projects and succession planning to optimize workforce structure.
- Manage HR budgets and participate in strategic planning to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop HR policies that support diversity, equity, inclusion, and overall organizational health.
- Oversee employee onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture while emphasizing compliance standards.
- Monitor employee engagement metrics through data analysis tools to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with supervising experience in diverse HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law as well as OSHA regulations to ensure legal compliance across all HR activities.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition strategies including sourcing (HR sourcing), interviewing (including behavioral interviewing), and onboarding processes.
- Experience managing benefits administration systems such as Paychex, Paylocity, UltiPro, or Ceridian; familiarity with payroll processing is essential.
- Skilled in performance management systems and employee evaluation techniques; adept at coaching managers on best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms like Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors or ADP for data collection and reporting purposes.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strong communication skills for effective conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives while maintaining team motivation during organizational transitions.
- Knowledge of organizational design principles (organization design) aimed at improving efficiency and agility within teams.
- Familiarity with training & development programs that enhance employee skills aligned with strategic goals.
- Data analysis skills for interpreting workforce metrics; capable of making data-driven decisions that influence HR strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; advanced certifications such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP are preferred.
