About the Role
Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide companionship, standby assistance, and light cooking for a male client. This role focuses on engagement, safety, and comfort, not heavy lifting or clinical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Standby assistance during mobility (be present and attentive)
- Prepare simple, healthy meals — basic cooking required
- Light household tidying and organization
- Medication reminders (no administration)
- Pleasant conversation, walks, hobbies, board games, or other activities client enjoys
- Create a respectful, calm, and positive environment
Requirements
- English / Spanish required
- Prior caregiving or companion care experience preferred
- Comfortable with simple cooking / meal prep
- Patient, professional, and reliable
- Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration preferred

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
