Caregiver | 24-Hour Care | Hoyer Lift & Dementia Experience | Kenosha, WI
Location: Kenosha, WI
Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time | Multiple Shifts Available
Now Hiring Experienced Caregivers in Kenosha
Senior Helpers is hiring reliable and compassionate caregivers for a male client requiring 24-hour in-home care. Experience with dementia care, Hoyer lifts, gait belts, incontinence care, and two-person transfers is preferred.
Available Shifts
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 7:00 PM – 11:00 AM
Caregiver Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide personal care and incontinence care
- Prepare meals and assist with cooking
- Provide dementia care and companionship
- Assist with mobility and walking
- Use a gait belt and Hoyer lift
- Perform safe two-person transfers
- Provide dependable, hands-on care
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Qualifications
- Caregiving experience preferred
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts
- Experience with two-person transfers
- Dementia care experience
- Incontinence care experience
- Ability to safely assist with the client's weight
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must pass a background check
- Comfortable working in a home with a dog
