The most successful person in this role will be “feet on the street,” building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and becoming a trusted resource in the local senior care community.Position OverviewThe Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new client referrals through relationship-building with healthcare professionals and community partners. This role involves regular in-person visits to referral sources, presenting our services, managing referral pipelines, and helping families navigate care solutions.Success in this role requires initiative, organization, persistence, and a genuine passion for helping seniors.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Relationship BuildingIdentify and build relationships with key referral sources, including:HospitalsAssisted living and independent living communitiesSkilled nursing and rehabilitation facilitiesPhysicians’ officesCase managers, social workers, and discharge plannersConduct regular in-person visits to referral partners to maintain visibility and strengthen relationshipsDeliver presentations and educational sessions to healthcare professionals and community groupsAttend networking events, conferences, and industry functions to generate new referral opportunitiesLead Management & Growth ExecutionMaintain and manage referral pipeline using CRM systemTrack outreach activities, referrals, and conversion metricsFollow up consistently with referral partners and prospective clientsMeet or exceed referral and revenue growth goalsCommunity Presence & EducationRepresent Senior Helpers as a trusted resource in the healthcare communityEducate referral partners on home care services and how we support patient outcomesHelp position Senior Helpers as the preferred home care provider in the territoryIdeal Candidate BackgroundWe are seeking someone who understands the healthcare ecosystem and can relate to referral partners.
