Your day might include:
- Providing friendly companionship and meaningful conversation
- Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
- Helping with meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting with pet care and plant care as needed
- Engaging clients in hobbies, games, reading, and activities they enjoy
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)- bathing, dressing, transferring and toileting as assigned
Who We're Looking For
Required:
- Has genuine warmth, patience, and a love for spending time with seniors
- Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug test
- Brings a positive, upbeat, and calming presence to every visit
- Must be 18 years old
Preferred:
- Prior caregiving or companion care experience
- Experience with seniors with memory loss, Alzheimer's, or dementia
- CPR/First Aid certification
