Caregiver Job Responsibilities
As a Caregiver / CNA / Home Health Aide, you will provide personalized one-on-one in-home support to seniors, including:
- Companion care and emotional support
- Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Medication reminders
- Mobility support and transfer assistance
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Safety supervision and fall prevention
- Support for seniors with:
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Dementia
- Parkinson’s disease
- Chronic health conditions
- Building trusted relationships with clients and families
- Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating with office staff
Caregiver Requirements
- CNA certification OR 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for helping seniors remain safe and independent at home
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background screening
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
