Qualifications
- Prior caregiving experience is preferred but we are proud to offer you on-the-job training
- Overnight shift experience is often preferred
- Trustworthiness and professionalism
- Ability to be reliable, empathetic, and flexible (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt (preferred)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- With a negative Tuberculosis Test
- Patient, reliable, and culturally sensitive, with a strong commitment to preserving client dignity and independence
- Highly skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility support.
Responsibilities
- Build a positive relationship with your client by taking part in engaging conversations and participating in your client’s favorite hobbies
- Be able to perform light housekeeping, cook, and run errands as needed
- Provide individualized care as detailed in a care plan
- Have the ability to remain calm and collected during emergencies
- Maintained a clean, safe, and organized living environment to prevent infection and accidents.
- Followed safety protocols and infection control guidelines at all times.
- Assisted clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding while maintaining dignity and comfort.
