We match your skill level! Senior Helpers will also help provide you with the ability to grow professionally within the care industry by providing learning opportunities and experience. We serve the greater Chicagoland area, so we serve a variety of clients to match you with! We have available shifts now for weekdays, weekends, flex care with our facilities, day shifts, evening shifts, and overnights.

Qualifications 

• Prior caregiving experience is preferred but we are proud to offer you on-the-job training 
• Overnight shift experience is often preferred 
• Trustworthiness and professionalism 

• Ability to be reliable, empathetic, and flexible (preferred)

• Willingness to learn and adapt (preferred)

• Reliable transportation to and from work

Responsibilities 

• Build a positive relationship with your client by taking part in engaging conversations and participating in your client’s favorite hobbies 

• Be able to perform light housekeeping, cook, and run errands as needed

• Provide individualized care as detailed in a care plan

• Have the ability to remain calm and collected during emergencies
