Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility support, toileting, and feeding.
- Fully available for flexible scheduling, including morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Holds a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experienced in transporting clients safely to medical appointments, errands, and community activities.
- Skilled in working in flexhome and other adaptive home-care environments, ensuring individualized care in both structured and dynamic settings.
- Dedicated to preserving client dignity, privacy, and independence in all aspects of care.
- Able to perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and other in-home support tasks
Responsibilities:
- Maintained a clean, safe, and organized living environment to prevent infection and accidents.
- Offered companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation.
- Assisted with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, and room sanitation.
- Accompanied clients to medical appointments
- Observed and reported changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Assisted clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding while maintaining dignity and comfort.
