Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):- Answer all incoming calls to the office with professionalism and upbeat attitude. Direct calls to appropriate staff member or take a message if they are unavailable and ensure all documentation is complete in our home care software.
- Under direct supervision Director of Operations and with input from other staff where appropriate, coordinate project activities for internal office staff
- Coordinate creation of caregiver bio postcards
- As directed, contact new clients when beginning the shifts for the first time to notify them of what caregiver will be providing services and provide them with a bio for that caregiver
- Utilize industry knowledge to provide the highest level of customer service and caregiver support
- Track and record in home care software all instances of assignment refusals, call-outs, late arrivals, early departures, incoming phone calls pertaining to caregivers/clients etc.
- Accept on-call duty averaging a one week period per month
- In the case of an emergency call out and shift coverage need, ability to work in the field with any client with the experience to cover all services provided
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate pleasantly and effectively with callers and internal staff.
- Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills.
- Familiar with a variety of the industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of general healthcare staffing requirements
- Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently
- Must have experience using telephones with multiple lines, multi-task on several calls and maintain professionalism and patience with a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities are a requirement, schedule conflicts are bound to arise that will require creative solutions
- Must have at least six months of direct caregiving experience including companion care, dementia care and personal care
- Preferred: Knowledge of Clear Care, Matrix, Tiger Connect, Axis Care software.
