Senior Community Services is celebrating our 76th year as a leading community-based nonprofit agency, empowering people as they age. Join its experienced, dedicated Senior Outreach & Caregiver Services' team in providing quality services that positively impact the lives of older adults and those who care for them. In addition to providing care coordination and supportive counseling for older adults, the program offers caregiver support groups, coaching/counseling, education sessions, and web-based tools for the caregiving family, friends, and neighbors of older adults.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide social services (non-EW) to help seniors remain as independent as possible.
• Offer resources and support to family/friends/neighbors - their caregivers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Passion for the mission of Senior Community Services
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Social Work
• MN Social Work license and car required
• Two years' experience in working with older adults preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Experience in mission driven and nonprofit organizations preferred
