Speech Therapist (ST) - Medicare Home Health
Location: St. Petersburg and surrounding areas.

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist (ST) to provide high-quality, patient-centered speech therapy services on a PRN/Part Time basis in the home health setting. In this role, you will work one-on-one with patients to address communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic needs—helping them regain function and improve their quality of life from the comfort of their homes.
This role offers flexible scheduling, independence in the field, and the support of a collaborative clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
- Provide skilled therapy interventions, including communication therapy, swallowing therapy, cognitive retraining, and compensatory strategy training.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, safety, and communication strategies.
- Document all care in compliance with Medicare and agency standards.
- Communicate regularly with nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Report any significant changes in patient condition to the physician and clinical team.
