Job Title: Per Diem Psychiatric RN – Home Health
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and self-motivated Field Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home psychiatric nursing services on a per diem basis. This role focuses on delivering high-quality mental health care to patients in their homes, promoting stabilization, wellness, and independence.
Responsibilities:

Conduct in-home psychiatric nursing assessments and evaluations.

Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

Provide skilled psychiatric nursing care and education to patients and caregivers.

Monitor and document changes in patient condition, behavior, and medication response.

Coordinate care with other clinicians, therapists, and support services.

Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory guidelines.

Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, medication compliance, and coping strategies.

Respond to crises or urgent patient needs as appropriate within scope of practice.

Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, and agency standards.

Current, active RN license in the state of Florida.

1 years of recent psychiatric or mental health nursing experience (home health).

Prior home health experience.

Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills.

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible per diem schedule.
