The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) offers a variety of services, with many of them provided onsite at a PACE Center.
PACE is an alternative to nursing home care and – through an interdisciplinary care team (IDT) of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, therapists, van drivers, and aides – coordinates and provides preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services, so older individuals can continue living in the community.

- Welcome and room participants, gathering history and addressing concerns.
- Obtain vitals, administer medications, injections, and vaccines.
- Assist with wound care, diagnostic testing (EKG, POC), and nebulizer treatments.
- Support providers with EMR documentation and prescription processing.
- Ensure equipment is sterilized, supplies are stocked, and clinic operations run smoothly.
- Provide care in the clinic and, when needed, in participant homes.
- Collaborate closely with staff, participants, and families using a patient-family centered care approach.
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) with 1 year of experience (2 preferred).
- Previous experience with the elderly, frail, or long-term care population.
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain through SCPP).
- Reliable transportation and valid Michigan driver’s license/insurance.

- Must be fully vaccinated or willing to become vaccinated against: Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap/Td, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B
- Must meet CMS competency standards prior to working independently
- Must be willing to work beyond normal hours and take part in our on-call rotation
- Comfortable working in varied home environments and all weather conditions
